As construction of the retail portion of Tampa’s Westshore Marina District starts, BTI Partners’ Britney Mroczkowski CCIM is excited to welcome its first retail tenants, Duckweed Urban Market and A DRNK coffee + tea/QWENCH juice bar.
BTI Partners, based in Fort Lauderdale, recently signed a lease with Duckweed, a boutique grocery market to occupy 3,000 square feet in the heart of the mixed-use development. Duckweed will open its doors in early 2020. The second concept to ink a deal in the marina district, DRNK will serve coffee and tea and QWENCH will serve raw juices, smoothies and acai bowls. It will occupy 1,200 square feet and also will open in early 2020. The second tenant was announced this week by BTI Partners.
The 52-acre planned community overlooking one of the largest yacht basins on Tampa Bay is located off Westshore and Gandy Boulevards on Old Tampa Bay across from St. Petersburg.
“We are carefully curating our tenant mix to bring retailers that will add significantly to the quality of life of Tampa Bay residents,” said Mroczkowski, the Vice President of Retail Development with BTI Partners. “Our tenants will give South Tampa residents a good reason to go out, socialize and have a fun time.”
Mroczkowski served as the Florida CCIM Chapter’s West Coast District’s President in 2017. She recently also was honored to speak to graduating seniors and their families at the Academy at the Lakes, her high school alma mater near Tampa just days before flying to Las Vegas where she represented BTI at ICSC’s RECon, the annual global retail deal making conference.
