CCIM’s Sale of Large Lot Will Help Alleviate Affordable Housing Shortage in Citrus County

Sage N. Andress, CCIM sold a 500 lot subdivision, located in Citrus Springs, to Habitat for Humanity of Citrus County. George Rusaw, executive director of Habitat, stated that the plan is to build 10 phases of 50 homes each. Citrus County has a major shortage of affordable housing and the County has stated that they feel this will go a long way to solving the current affordable housing crunch. Habitat plans to start construction on phase one of their project in 2021.
