A strategic purchase by a larger company from the northeast (Kinsley Construction) that provides the same services as the Seller (Met-Con Inc. which was established in 1979) occurred on October 31, 2021. According to Kent Cooper, CCIM (Principal of Capstone Commercial M&A Advisors) who represented the Seller, the sale included both the business and real estate for $13,600,000. The real estate was 108,704 SF on 22.2 acres in Cocoa, Florida.
The Seller was responsible for several projects with Disney, Universal Studio, Space X, NASA, Blue Origin and several other projects.
