On January 28, 2016, the Florida chapter leadership and the district leadership convened in Orlando for the annual Board of Directors meeting. At the meeting, two important actions occurred. First, I was sworn in as your President for 2016. Second, Bev Larson, our 2015 President received the Florida District of the Year Award and accepted this award on behalf of the entire SWFL District. This is a great honor and a testament to the superb leadership and commitment Bev dedicates to our district.
I am honored to serve as your President and look forward to working with you to ensure members enjoy the benefits and opportunities associated with the SWFL CCIM District. I encourage you to take advantage of the numerous membership benefits including:
Education: Take courses to broaden your horizons, learn something new, and hone your skills.
Networking: Mark your calendar for the third Wednesday of each month to join us at our monthly meeting for the camaraderie and fellowship. For each meeting we strive to bring you an interesting speaker with topics that are relevant to our industry.
Volunteer: Please get involved to help the SWFL CCIM District grow and to enrich your experience.
Membership: We have a diverse membership of very qualified professionals. Our affiliate members offer a level of professionalism that can ensure success when using their services. When you need the assistance of support companies while doing a deal, please refer to our membership.

CCIM Education
Again, KUDOS go to Bev Larson our Education Chair who successfully organized the first CCIM 101 course for 2016. We had 44 students from across the country and Canada.
