There’s a little over six months left in 2024, so it is a great time to re-evaluate and reassess your goals. One of the major goals of the FL CCIM Chapter is to increase our membership. To re-engage missing members, I have asked our Districts to contact past Chapter and Institute members, encouraging them to renew their membership. Many thanks to our District leadership for their efforts on this project.

Congratulations to the new 2025 FL CCIM Chapter leadership team! A big thank you to Steven Rigl, CCIM, 2024 Nominating Committee Chair, and his committee for ensuring we have the right people in the right places. Congratulations to Michael Hinton, CCIM, 2025 FL CCIM Chapter President. I look forward to the outstanding achievements the FL Chapter will accomplish during your leadership!

The CCIM Institute has launched the new Introduction to the Commercial Real Estate Certificate program. This program is designed to provide basic education and fundamentals about commercial real estate for affiliated professionals who are entering the field. Be sure to watch our calendar for upcoming classes.

Scholarships for 2024 CCIM Core Courses are available, and the deadline for the Named Education Scholarship (NES) Program has been extended to June 30th. We also encourage you to apply for 2025 scholarships, as well. A massive thank you to John Lonardo, CCIM, our Chapter Scholarship Chair, for his outstanding attention to detail in coordinating the application process.

Our clever and creative Chapter RPAC Chair, Bill Poteet, CCIM, has launched a Baby Face Contest. Check out the baby pictures of our executive leadership team and cast your vote. Each vote is $1.00, and the more you vote the more you invest in RPAC.

Reservations are now open to attend the FL CCIM Chapter 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner on August 20th in Orlando. Please join us for the celebration!

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible fathers in our CCIM family. Wishing you a wonderful day with your family!
