This month’s newsletter carries mixed emotions. I’d like to send my love and prayers to those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Our state underwent tremendous devastation.  There are a number of organizations available for assistance, including the Florida Relief Fund for REALTOR members and their clients. Hurricane Recovery Resources | Florida Realtors. Believe in your own strength. Your FLCCIM family is here for you.

On a brighter note, the NAR C5 + CCIM Global Summit was a resounding success.  The CCIM Institute partnered with NAR to welcome practitioners working in every class, category, size and shape of commercial real estate. The Florida Chapter dinner was a huge success, with a sold-out venue of over 70 Designees in attendance from all over the U.S. We were thrilled to welcome D’Etta Casto-DeLeon, CCIM/2024 CCIM Institute Global President, who toasted our Chapter’s 50th Anniversary. Additionally, prominent New York Commercial Investment Broker, Bob Knakal, shared insightful industry knowledge and words of wisdom.

Regretfully, I was unable to attend the CCIM Annual Meetings in Houston, but our Florida Chapter was well-represented and continues to be recognized as one of the most engaging Chapters on the national level. Congratulations to our newest 11 Designees! Through the tireless efforts of Lee Nimkoff, CCIM/2024 VP of Administration, we were able to celebrate with a spectacular dinner at the Palm Restaurant in Houston and present our signature FLCCIM red jackets. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishment, and the future holds limitless opportunities!
