A Message From Our President

As your 2025 CCIM Miami District President, I am excited to guide our district through a year of transformation, growth, and innovation. In an ever-evolving commercial real estate landscape, our focus will remain on thriving through adaptability and leadership. Building on the exceptional leadership of Robert Palacios, MBA, CCIM, in 2024, we will embrace change as an opportunity to lead, excel, and strengthen the impact of CCIM Miami.

This year, we are committed to deepening connections and creating opportunities that resonate with our members and sponsors. Education, networking, and leadership development remain at our core, but 2025 will be defined by bold, innovative steps that enhance how we engage with the broader commercial real estate industry.

To foster stronger connections, we are exploring the development of a dedicated district app. This tool will streamline member-to-member communication and enhance collaboration with the Board of Directors, creating a more dynamic and efficient community for all members.
Mentorship remains a cornerstone of our efforts. We are focusing on elevating awareness and engagement with our peer-to-peer mentoring platform, a valuable online resource available to pinned CCIMs and those pursuing their designation. By working to expand access for all district members, we aim to unlock the collective expertise and support within our community, ensuring that every member benefits from this powerful tool.

Community engagement will continue to be a priority as we host events that create lasting impacts in underserved areas, showcasing the role of commercial real estate professionals as community partners. These initiatives reinforce CCIM Miami’s commitment to fostering vibrant, economically strong communities across South Florida.

We’re also elevating our sponsorship experience with new, innovative ways to connect. In addition to traditional sponsorship opportunities, we are introducing interactive features like co-branded thought leadership podcasts, exclusive content partnerships, and expanded digital advertising. The upcoming CCIM South Florida Golf Tournament, in partnership with CCIM Fort Lauderdale, will serve as a unique opportunity for sponsors and members to network and engage in early April.

Every event this year, from our nine Update Series luncheons to our networking events and annual conference, will reflect our dedication to maximizing value. Strategic initiatives like sponsor spotlights, localized market highlights, and live Q&A sessions will ensure meaningful engagement for all participants.

Guided by the principles of excellence, collaboration, and innovation, CCIM Miami will continue to lead the way in 2025. Together, we will build on the strong foundation of our district, preparing for the milestone 20th Annual CCIM Commercial Real Estate Outlook Conference in 2026.
